I've been lifting with a pair of these for about six months and they've worked out really well. They give just the right amount of enclosure and they are very secure, at least at the weights I've been using them with (~250 - 300lbs). They do put a little stress on the wrists, but as long as you don't intend to use them as a total crutch it shouldn't be a problem. Even the rubber coating holds up remarkably well under use, which surprised me. Overall, a sturdy, well crafted product.
