(More customer reviews)I used to feel I had jellyfish strapped to my feet and hands, sliding as much as I did.I rarely slide with this mat, so much so that moving onto my crown in urdhva dhanurasana has resulted losing a few hairs.I am very happy with this mat and highly recommend it.It isn't too heavy and you can crama lot of stuff in this bag, I can roll my blanket up with the mat and make it fit. It does smell weird, so just let it air out for a week before running off to a full studio class to try it out.The smell was gone after a week.AAA+++
