(More customer reviews)Wow! I was an early adopter of the precursor to this product which was called SMHEART LINK. To be honest, it was kind of big and had to be recharged and used a klunky ad hoc Wi-Fi connection to communicate with my iPhone. Nevertheless, it was really cool to have my iPhone track my cardio exercise. Now my iPod touch can do all that and more with this tiny little device. It should work with your iPhone and iPad as well... It truly "plug and play" and barely impacts my iPhone battery life. I had to get a new app and it is not cheap but well worth the subscription price. Now, with iRunner, I can use my Garmin foot pod and heart belt to track my running speed and distance along with my heart rate. I have been waiting years for this! Any kind of exercise ... anywhere ... indoors or out .... and automated or manual weight tracking to boot. What more could you ask for?
