(More customer reviews)Hello! I paid $149- a year ago so how on EARTH can they justify such an increase??

[PROS]: Fairly light; not too much time to put together; nice color (flat black/dark gray); thin, narrow 27" wheels make commuting less work.

[CONS]: Frame/fork not straight out the box; Wife and I both bought one and they BOTH arrived with scratches/small dents and both boxes torn open at the pedal contact point; tires/tubes are exceedingly poor quality -- first time I tried to pump rear tire the presta valve snapped off in my hand(!); requires very smooth roads/bike lanes as you will feel every single bump on the low-end, uncomfortable seat. And, lastly, both wheels arrived slighty out-of-true, but were easily tighted up/corrected.

Granted, we bought *cheap* bikes, which is our fault, but we were kinda hoping for just a little more longevity and/or quality for our money.We should've saved up for a real bike, or gone 'used' to save cash.We will NOT go down this road again.It's become a truism, I suppose, that Made-in-China products are by far the worst of the worst.This 'M-Street' bike proves that again.Learn from our mistake.This bike is not worth the $149- that Target/Amazon was asking, much less the $249- now!Hope this review may help someone to avoid making our mistake.Good luck...

Note: Frame size is determined by measuring the distance from the center of the bottom bracket (the bolt that locks in the crank) to the top of the seat tube. Stand-over height is determined by measuring the distance from the ground to the top tube. A bike that you ride only on paved surfaces and never take off road should give you a minimum stand-over height clearance of 2", a bike that you ride on unpaved surfaces should give you a minimum of 3" of stand-over height clearance and a bike that you ride off road should give you a minimum of 4" of stand-over height clearance.
